Damn Vulnerable Linux (DVL)

DVL is a new Linux created to be used as a learning resource for hackers all around. DVL is not in any way an OS replacement, it installs into your computer, not over it. Basically, it’s a really vulnerable Linux distro that has exploits built into it on purpose. It contains text and video lessons, showing how to exploit all sorts of software ranging from Binaries, Web Scripts, and CrackMe’s. So as you read/watch a lesson, you can be preforming the exploit on DVL since it includes all the software it shows you how to break. This is definitely a very useful tool!

    That’s a really nice and useful distro, if you don’t have the time to figure out all by yourself! On the other hand, if you don’t have the time, than you shouldn’t try to hack!

    I like the site NanoyMaster, except maybe you should show the challenge links, etc even if they don't have an account so they at least know they exist?

    Just tested with WMP, and they are working fine. Try VLC media player, it's a lot better anyway.
